School of Rock is coming to Manchester

The feel good, rock fest stage show, School of Rock, is taking a break from its award winning West End run to go on tour and will be in Manchester from 23 June to 03 July 2021.

Based on the Hollywood box off hit of the same name, the musical adaptation sees lovable failed rock star Dewey Finn as he fakes his way through a substitute teacher role and turns a class of school kids in to the rocker he always wanted to become.

From the moment the curtain goes up, to the time the audience is dragged from its seats, this is a show full of dancing in chairs and feel good smiles.

I’ve seen the show in London, and can’t wait for it to arrive in Manchester, a city made for rocking it out and sticking it to the man!

Featuring 14 new songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber and all the original songs from the movie, this high-octane smash delivers face-melting guitar riffs and touching romance in equally awesome doses. It opened in London in November 2016 to 5-star reviews and widespread critical acclaim, going on to win the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music.
