Rock ‘n’ Roll Musical, Teddy

Teddy Boys take the stage by storm in Teddy at The Lowry in Manchester from Tuesday 13th to Saturday 17th February.

Set in 1950’s London after the Blitz against a backdrop of austerity, the Rock ‘n’ Roll musical features brand new music that is authentic to the era.

Telling the story of Teddy and Josie, all dressed up and ready to hit the streets of London for an unforgettable night out, Teddy is the ultimate story of teenage rebellion and the birth of a new musical era. Music includes electrifying original songs performed live by the on-stage band Johnny Valentine and the Broken Hearts.

The critically acclaimed, 1950’s rock ‘n’ roll musical reunites Tristan Bernays with director Eleanor Rhode and choreographer Tom Jackson Greaves, following the recent success of their hit production ‘Boudica’ at The Globe and ‘Frankenstein’ at The Watermill Theatre and Wilton’s Music Hall. Produced by Sarah Loader for Snapdragon Productions in association with The Watermill Theatre.

The cast for Teddy includes, Molly Chesworth (Josie), Andrew Gallo (Sammy ‘The Sticks’ Smith), George Parker (Teddy), Freya Parks (Jenny O’Malley), Harrison White (Buster Watson) and Dylan Wood (Johnny Valentine).
