Peter Kay has announced that he will be back LIVE on stage in Manchester and Liverpool for four dates in April and May 2020.
Having not performed a live show since causing a storm when he cancelled his 2017 tour at the last minute, the Bolton icon is bringing his ‘Dance for Life’ show back in order to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Dance for Life features Kay as the DJ for the evening as he hosts a special charity disco, billed as a dance-a-thon party. What more could you want than three hours of dancing, laughing and fundraising?
Kay last took Dance for Life on tour for 14 nights in 2016, and said of the experience: “I’ve honestly never had so much fun as I had working on Dance For Life. The atmosphere was so happy and positive; it really is a great way to raise money for the worthiest of causes. All people have to do is turn up and dance. I’d also like to encourage people to get themselves sponsored.”
Tickets will be going on sale from 9am on Friday 28 February (we will remind you at 8.30 on Facebook with a link for tickets) and party-goers are encourage to join Kay’s Dance for Life Justgiving team to do their own fundraising.
Tickets are £28 each. Fancy dress will be optional but encouraged.
