Young Dancers Perform at The Lowry

The Lowry CAT dance triple bill is from Saturday 28th to Sunday 29th July 2018 and will see young dancers from across Greater Manchester on The Lowry’s resident dance training programme will celebrate in July with an end of year performance.

The Lowry Centre for Advanced Training in Dance (CAT), is one of eleven centres across the UK that helps to identify, and assist, young people with exceptional potential, regardless of their personal circumstances, to benefit from world-class specialist training as part of a broad and balanced education.

The Lowry CAT dance triple bill is an end of year celebration of talent starring young dancers from across the North West. Aspiring dancers will be performing works made in collaboration with world class dance artists Joss Arnott, Jamaal Burkmar and Morgann Runacre-Temple. Starring on The Lowry’s Quays theatre stage this July will be graduating Students: Pute Chomchan (Rochdale), Evie Pendlebury (Bolton), Laurence Brown (Stockport), and Holly Brennan (Oldham). Each of whom have accepted places at prestigious dance conservatoires and university courses.

Guest performers and companies also starring in the celebration event will be The Royal Ballet Primary Steps from Blackpool (28th July) and The Lowry’s Youth Dance Company (29th July).
