Smells like Kings spirit…Come as you uh-huh-huh are just two of the song titles that might have been, had Nirvana had Elvis as its lead vocalist. Hard to imagine, right? Well imagine no longer, because an Elvis Presley and Nirvana tribute band is playing Manchester’s O2 Ritz on Saturday 14 March.
You read that right, no need to double take. It doesn’t sound like it should work (and we are still slightly dubious as to whether or not it really does), but Elvana – as they are called – seems to have struck a chord and got people all shook up.
The unlikely bed fellow mash-up band is in the midst of a tour that sees them play to tens of thousands of people across the UK and Australia, which we believe makes this a world tour!
